Terms and Conditions

  • The minimum amount for investment in the Fixed Deposit Scheme must be in multiples of ₹1 lakh.
  • All Fixed Deposits will carry an annual rate of interest.
  • Fixed Deposit – 24 Months: The deposit cannot be withdrawn before 12 months. For premature withdrawals: If withdrawn between 13 and 18 months, the interest rate will be 5% per annum. If withdrawn after 18 months, the interest rate will be 5% per annum. If the member has opted to receive interest under the Monthly Interest Scheme (MIS) at 2% per month, and the deposit is withdrawn early, the excess interest already paid will be deducted from the principal at the time of withdrawal.
  • Fixed Deposit – 36 Months: The deposit cannot be withdrawn before 18 months. For premature withdrawals: If withdrawn between 19 and 30 months, the interest rate will be 5% per annum. If withdrawn after 30 months, the interest rate will be 5% per annum. If the member has opted for the Monthly Interest Scheme (MIS) at 2% per month, and the deposit is withdrawn early, the excess interest already paid will be adjusted against the principal.
  • No loans will be granted against the Fixed Deposit Receipt under this scheme.
  • The institution will invest the deposit funds in immovable assets.
  • All cash deposits and withdrawals will be subject to applicable RBI regulations.
  • It will be mandatory for every customer to deposit (the amount) via RTGS/NEFT/IMPS into the bank account of the investment society.
  • The returns of the said scheme are given from the profit earned by the organization. Interest should be understood as profit.
